New Table Reservation (Basic)
This guide will show you how to add a new table reservation.
Once a table reservation has been made, it will be added to the list of table reservations.

Tapping on the New Table Reservation button, as highlighted below, will prompt a window to appear, allowing you to enter the details of a new table reservation.



Party Size
Choose the number of people who will be dining on this reservation.
The system will check the availability of tables in Table Manager, informing you whether or not have sufficient table space for this number of people.




Reservation Date & Time
Use these options to set the time and date of the reservation. This information can be edited afterwards by staff members with sufficient access.
Reservation times are shown based on the Availability and Reservation Intervals set in settings.




Table Number
Tapping this button will launch the table manager which displays your table map(s), enabling you to select the table for this reservation.
Multiple tables may be selected for a single reservation, this might be necessary to accommodate larger party sizes.




Customer Select
Tapping this button will launch a window displaying your list of saved customers, allowing you to connect a customer to this reservation.
You may also add a new customer from here, or quickly find a specific customer by using the search function or scanning a barcode connected to their Customer Card Number.




Manual Customer Information
These fields should be used to enter customer information regarding the table reservation.




Advanced Info
Tap this button to enter advanced information for the table reservation.




Saving a Reservation
After entering the necessary details tap on the Check Mark.




The reservation will be added to your list of reservations, as highlighted below.
Tapping on the reservation will launch a small panel displaying various options. The next step would be to confirm the reservation. You may also edit or cancel the reservation using this panel.



After confirming the reservation, its status will change from Pending to Confirmed and a greater range of options will become available from the reservation panel.
Assign Other Table: This button will launch the table manager, enabling you to assign a different table to the one at point of reservation.
Waiting for Table: This button should be pressed when guests have arrived, but the table is not ready. It will change the status of the reservation to Waiting.
Edit Table Reservation: This allows users with sufficient access to edit the reservation.
Send SMS: You can send an SMS message with details of the reservation to the customer. You must have SMS credit, which can be purchased via logging into your Tillpoint account.
Send Email: You can send an email with details of the reservation to the customer. The default text for this can be changed in Settings.
Cancel Reservation: Use this button to cancel the reservation.
