Here you can add modifiers to the product. These will appear and can be chosen from in the POS page when the product is selected.
Tap ‘Add Modifiers’
A pop-up menu will appear, enabling you to input details for the modifier.
Modifier Group Name
Tap the field and input a name for the modifier (e.g. Haircut Types).
Select whether this modifier is active. Selecting ‘No’ will disable its use in the POS module, although modifiers will still be visible.
Number of Selections
This is used to set a minimum and maximum number of modifiers that should be selected when purchasing this item.
Setting a minimum number will prompt, at point of sale, to select at least that amount of modifiers to go with the product.
If you set a maximum, the system will not allow you to add more than that amount of modifiers to the product (e.g. Two ketchup sachets per this product).
Tap ‘Add Modifier’ and you will be presented with two options.
Inventory Item Modifier
Tap ‘Name’ and a pop-up menu will appear. Choose an inventory group, revealing all the items within it, then select the item from the right hand-side. Alternatively, you can use the search bar to find an item.
Once a modifier has been chosen, tap the ‘Price’ field and input the amount this modifier will cost to add onto the product (e.g. Different food toppings/condiments).
Non-Inventory Item Modifier
As you are adding a non-inventory item, you will need to input the name manually using the keypad.
Once a modifier name has been chosen, tap the ‘Price’ field and input the amount this modifier will cost to add onto the product (e.g. Different prices for cutting short, medium or long hair).
Number of Free Modifiers
This refers to the amount of modifiers that can be selected with this item for no cost.
Use this field to add any relevant information to the modifier. This will only appear here.
Selecting the Modifier in POS
Begin by adding an item to the basket, followed by tapping on it. Now tap the highlighted button to select modifiers for the item.
