Items
Items
This section enables you to connect items in your inventory to the suppliers from whom you source the items.



Add Items
Begin by tapping ‘Add Item’




A pop-up window will appear. Tap the an inventory group on the left hand-side, revealing all the items within it, followed by selecting an item. Alternatively, you can use the search bar to find an item.





Supplier Item Code
This is the code used by the supplier to identify an item, and is typically displayed on purchase invoices.






Brand
Use this field to input the brand of the supplier’s product.






Purchase Unit and Conversion Formula
Select the unit by which you purchase the product, followed by inputting a conversion formula (e.g. Purchase Unit: Box; Conversion Formula: 1 Box = 50 Items).






Minimum Order Quantity and Minimum Order Value
Input the minimum order and value quantity at which you can purchase the product from this specific supplier (e.g. 100 items or £100 worth of this item).






Item Tax
Tap the ‘Item Tax’ field.
Home Page > Accounts > Tax Settings > Purchase Taxes






A pop-up will appear, detailing tax settings for this item.







Taxes
A green cross indicates a tax is applied, whereas an orange cross indicates it is not applies. Tap to toggle between the two.








Override Value
Tap the field.








A pop-up window of a numeric keypad will appear. Use it to enter an override amount. This amount can be changed between percentage and currency by tapping the exchange icon.










Shipping Turnaround
Tap to select the shipping turnaround (the time taken from the order being received to the order being delivered)






Note
Tap the ‘Note’ field to add any extra, relevant information about the item being sourced from this supplier.






Preferred Supplier
You might source the same item from various suppliers, this options is here to indicate who is the preferred supplier for this particular item. This will be displayed in Supplier Info and in the Purchase Order module.
