New Package (Basic)
New Package (Basic)
This section allows you to add a package to your list of inventory. Be sure to include the package name, a short descriptions and an item number.
After adding an item, it will appear in your inventory and, by default, in the POS. To find your item quickly, use the search bar at the top of the screen; you may search for items by Name, Item Code, Barcode and SKU.
See here for advanced item options.
Get to the page below via Home Page > Inventory
Tap ‘New Item’.

Tap ‘Package’.

This will open the basic New Package window.

Pre-Packed Package
Use this option to define whether or not the package is pre-packed in your inventory, as opposed to creating the package at the point of purchase.
If a package is pre-packed it will have its own quantity in inventory, and the individual items which make up the package will be removed from inventory when increasing the quantity of the package via Package Adjustment (e.g. You have 10 t-shirts and 10 hats and create a pre-packed package consisting of 1 of each item. After increasing the quantity of the package via Package Adjustment, you will then have 9 t-shirts, 9 hats, and 1 packages in your inventory).
If a package is not pre-packed it will not have its own quantity in inventory as the items that make up the package will be deducted from your inventory at the point of purchase.
