Stock & Location
Stock & Location
This section allows you to add stock and location information regarding the product. This will be saved and can be viewed in the inventory at any time.

Stock Item
Do you stock this particular item as it is? (e.g. A bottle of wine would be the stock item, as opposed to a glass of wine, which is not a stock item).

Initial Quantity
Tap ‘Initial Qty on Hand’ to add the amount of this item already present in your inventory.

SKU
Tap to enter a SKU number unique to your business. This can be used to identify, in-house, different types of finished products, if it is a work in progress or raw materials.

Manufacturer SKU
Tap ‘Manafacturer SKU’ to enter the manufacturer SKU number. This is the number your suppliers use and is used for external identification.

Reorders
Reorder Alert Point
This feature warns you when the stock of a particular item is getting low. Tap to set at which point the system warns you that a reorder is necessary.
The reorder alert point will be shown in the Purchases module when tapping on the Low Stock List button.
Reorder Target Level
This feature automates a part of the reordering process by sending the reorder information directly to the Purchase Order page when stock reaches a certain level. Tap to input when this happens.

Department & Section
Tap ‘Department’ and select what department this item should be stored in/under.

Stocktake Frequency
Here you can select how often stock is to be checked, if you would prefer to check it manually, or alternatively, if you would like this item to be excluded from the stocktake.

Tap to select from a preset list where the item is located for purchase (e.g. 3rd floor, aisle C).

Inventory Location & Section

Tap here to enter a bin name or number. This can be used to identify items grouped and sold alongside one another in bins, trays or boxes.
