Customer Profile
Customer Profile
Arrive at this page via Customers > New Customer > Business > Advanced Info
A customer is a person or business who purchases goods or services from you. After adding a business to your customer list they will be visible in the main customers page, from where you can also edit and delete customers. Once a customer has been added, their name can be selected, at point of sale, to be sold to.
This section enables you to input more than just the business’ name, email and telephone number. Here you can add further information like point of contact, contact gender, business size, business registration number and from where the customer had been referred.

Add an Image
You can add an image of the business’ logo by tapping the ‘Image’ button.

Select the camera icon to take a photo, or alternatively, add an image already saved to the device by tapping the image album icon.

Change Active Status
Tap either ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, located under the word Active on the right-hand side of the screen.

Selecting ‘No‘ will make an INACTIVE tag appear on the customer’s profile. This will make it so your employees are unable to sell to them via the POS page, as this business will no longer appear in the POS and invoice modules.

Select an Alert or Contraindication
Tap ‘Alerts/Contraindications’ and select from the pop-up window which dietary requirements, food allergies or alerts need to be observed by staff.

Alerts/Contraindications can be selected as an icon or be typed in as a text note.

Alerts and contraindications will appear as an icon next to the customer‘s name on the profile and wherever else the customer is added (e.g. At point of sale and invoices).

Select Customer Tags
Tap ‘Customer Tags‘ and select which tags to attach to the business’ name. These can be used to let your employees know which business’ are classed as VIPs, friends and neighbouring businesses.

Select from a preset list which tags you wish to assign to this customer

Add a Customer ID
Tap ‘Customer ID (Manual)‘. If you wish to assign an ID to a customer it is recommended that you use a numeric ID. Usually a random ID will be generated, however, using this feature you may input customer IDs used in previous systems.
