Customer Profile
Customer Profile
Arrive at this page via Customers > New Customer > Individual > Advanced Info
A customer is a person or business who purchases goods or services from you. After adding an Individual to your customer list they will be visible in the main customers page, from where you can also edit and delete customers. Once a customer has been added, their name can be selected, at point of sale, to be sold to.
This section enables you to input more than just the customer’s title, first name, surname, gender and date of birth. Here you can add further information like occupation and from where the customer had been referred.

Add an Image
You can add a photo of the customer by tapping on the ‘Image’ button.

Select the camera icon to take a photo, or alternatively, upload an image already saved on the device by tapping the image album icon.

Change Active Status
Tap on either ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, located under the word Active on the right-hand side of the screen.

Selecting ‘No‘ will make an INACTIVE tag appear on the customer’s profile. This will make it so your employees are unable to sell to them via the POS page, as this customer will no longer appear in the POS and invoice modules.

Select a Customer Group
Tap ‘Customer Group’ to select the group you wish to place this customer in.
These are used to divide your customer base into groups of individuals who are similar in specific ways. This information may be useful to make it easier to search for customers and for more targeted marketing.

Now select from the preset list which customer group this individual fits into.
Settings > Customers > Customer > Add Customer Group

Select an Alert or Contraindication
Tap ‘Alerts/Contraindications’ and select from the pop-up window which dietary requirements, food allergies or alerts need to be observed by staff.

Alerts/Contraindications can be selected as an icon or be typed in as a text note.

Alerts and contraindications will appear as an icon next to the customer‘s name on the profile and wherever else the customer is added (e.g. At point of sale and invoices).
Settings > Customers > Tags and Contraindications

Add a Customer ID
Tap ‘Customer ID (Manual)‘. If you wish to assign an ID to a customer it is recommended that you use a numeric ID. Usually a random ID will be generated, however, using this feature you may input customer IDs used in previous systems.

Select Customer Tags
Tap ‘Customer Tags‘ and select which tags to attach to the customer’s name. Customer Tags can be used to let your employees know, at point of sale, which customer’s are classed as VIPs, friends or neighbouring businesses.

Select from a preset list which tags you wish to assign to this customer
Settings > Customers > Tags and Contraindications

Add Company Name
Tap ‘Company Name’ to add the company this customer works for or owns.
