Inventory Overview
This page provides an overview of everything you can do in the inventory module.

Categories
A category is used to group items together; these can include products, services and packages. After adding a category to your inventory it will be visible in the inventory page.
Tap ‘New Category’ to create a category for your inventory.


Categories will be displayed on the left-hand side of the inventory page.


In order to edit or delete a category, select it and, using your thumb or finger, slide to the left. This will reveal two icons. Tap the Red Bin Icon to delete, or the Orange Pencil Icon to edit.


Tap the burger icon to show category options, enabling you to edit and delete categories, rearrange the order that they appear in, view category information, and recover deleted categories.



Items
Items are products, matrices, packages and services that you can add to your list of inventory.
Tap ‘New Item’ to add to your inventory.


Utilise the Search by feature to filter results, then use the search bar to find a specific item.


Tap the burger icon, as highlighted below, to see options for your items.



Tap the burger icon to the right, as highlighted below, to see further options for your items in relation to stock quantity and wastage.
You are also able to print item information, such as stock counts, barcodes (including barcodes for sticky labels), and more.



Inventory Adjustment
Inventory adjustment may be necessary when you need to increase or decrease the amount of inventory you have of an item without making a sale. This might be due to a number of reasons (e.g. Miscalculation).
You can perform two types of adjustement, by quantity or by stock value.
Inventory Waste
Inventory waste is for when you need to decrease the amount of inventory you have. This might be due to a number of reasons (e.g. Spillage, Loss, etc...).
Item Stock Activity
This page enables you to see every aspect of the stock take activity including dates, times, users, descriptions, quantity, quantity balance and fees.
Stocktake, Inventory Transfer, and Preparations
Tapping the burger icon, as highlighted, gives you access to further inventory features.
Stocktake: This feature allows you to log movements of inventory from one location to another (e.g. From the warehouse to store room), or log inventory transfers between branches.
This feature allows you to record and view the amount of stock held by your company.
Inventory Transfer record and log all transfers across branches and inventory locations.

Preparations: Prepare items using ingredients, with an ability to create dishes in various quantities and units.



Inventory Balance
You may see a breakdown of an item’s quantity and the location in which each is being held by tapping its quantity amount.
