This page allows you to add further information about the customer including their time zone, credit limit and payment currency.
This information can then be found on the customer’s profile in the main Customers Page.
Use your finger to scroll down, revealing the information.
Tap ‘Customer Card Number’ to add a custom number or barcode, identifying each customer. (e.g. If you have card/membership numbers from a previous system, enter them here so they can continue to be used).
You can quickly scan barcodes in the POS page to attach customers to orders.
Add a Permanent Discount
Tap ‘Permanent Discount’ and a small window will pop-up.
Use the numeric keypad on the screen to enter how much of a discount this person will permanently have on their account. This can be changed at any time.
Tap the exchange icon to switch between currency and percentage.
Change the Time Zone
Tap on ‘Time Zone’ and a list will appear, enabling you to select the time zone that the customer is/will be in.
This may be used to prevent marketing calls at unfavourable hours.
Add an On-Account Credit Limit
Tap ‘On-Account Credit Limit’.
Use the numeric keypad on the screen and enter a value the amount a customer can spend on credit alone (e.g. £250).
Add a Transaction Limit
Tap ‘Transaction Limit’ and type in a numerical value that limits the amount a customer can spend per transaction. This will be observed in the POS page.
This may be set up by a parent or guardian of a minor and may be used in conjunction with a Credit Limit.
Add a Note
Tap ‘Note’ to add any extra information about the customer.
Select Marketing Preferences
Beneath the Marketing Via option tap to select ‘Phone’, ‘Email’ and/or ‘Post’. These options show the method the customer may be contacted for promotional material and special deals/offers.
Add a Search Keyword
Tap the ‘New Keyword’ button and text box will appear below, here you can type in a keyword.
You can enter as many keywords as you want, these keywords are used to find particluar customers at a later date.
