An invoice refers to a list of goods sent or services provided, with a statement of the sum due for these; a bill.
In this module you will be able to create, edit, view and, if the transaction has not been completed, void invoices.
Anytime a transaction is completed in the POS module, an invoice will automatically be generated. It is also possible to send a quotation from the Quotations app directly to here to be processed as an invoice.
You can use these options to filter the delivery orders that appear below in the Delivery List.
Tap ‘New Invoice’ and a page will appear, allowing you to create a invoice. For an in-depth guide, see here.
The button on the left is used to print or send the list of invoices, whereas the button on the right is used to print the details of a specific invoice.
Tapping one of these button will launch the print preview page.
Use the icons at the bottom of this screen to either print, or email (as a PDF file) the information.
Tapping the timeline icon will cause a pop-up window to appear, detailing all activity regarding the selected invoice, including the time and date, registree and action.
Tap the filter icons and select which information is readily shown in the columns.
Tap the sort icon to sort the orders in varying ways (e.g. Ascending or Descending).
Select the invoice you wish to cancel, followed by tapping the void button.
Voided invoices will still appear in the invoices page; this is done for record-keeping purposes.
Tapping the highlighted button below will open the invoice in the POS, allowing you to modify or complete the order there.
This button is used to change the staff member connected to the invoice. (e.g. John is logged in but Alex was the one who created the invoice for the customer.)
