A gift card (also known as a gift certificate, gift voucher or gift token) is a prepaid stored-value money card usually issued by a retailer to be used as an alternative to cash for purchases within a particular store or related businesses.
This feature allows the customer to pay the invoice balance, in part or in full, using a gift card.
Tap the customer icon to assign a customer to this purchase.
Select a customer from the list or tap ‘New Customer’ to create a new one.
After doing so, their name will appear. To Clear, Change, or view Customer Info, tap again.
After selecting items for purchase, tap ‘Pay’.
You will be presented with several options of how to proceed with payment. Tap ‘Gift Card’.
A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to pay an amount of the item cost using a gift card.
Cash Unit Buttons
The buttons at the top are for convenience, enabling you to quickly select a payable amount. This allows the customer to split the total amount between multiple payment methods (e.g. 50% with gift card and 50% with cash).
Home Page > Settings > POS > General > Cash Units

Use the fields to enter in the gift card number and issue date.
Tap the black check mark when finished.
This will register the gift card and display its remaining balance.
