This feature allows you to log the receiving of purchased items from suppliers. This must be done in order to complete the purchase order.
After registering that items have been received, the quantity of those items will be increased in your inventory. This is the correct method of increasing inventory as opposed to manual inventory adjustment.
After tapping the Receive Inventory button, this pop-up window will appear, enabling you to input information regarding the received inventory.
The highlighted areas below will display the amount of items ordered, the quantity which has already been received, if any, and the quantity of items still due.
Below each type will show your purchase unit and inventory unit, both of which can be changed by editing the product.
Tap this field to input the number of items received. The unit of receiving quantity will be the purchase unit saved for the item (e.g. Boxes).
Use the note field to enter any extra, relevant information pertaining to the receiving of these items. Each line will have its own note field.
Tapping this button will auto-fill every Receiving Qty field by the amount in which you are due from the supplier. This may be useful when receiving large numbers of items.
